Selecting a Computer Recycler

– Neil Shockey

Computer Recycling and Disposal

2trg performs computer recycling and computer disposal in Cincinnati, Ohio and Geneva, New York. We take your unwanted, old, or obsolete equipment and reuse or recycle it in an environmentally safe and legally compliant manner.

Clients can specify that hard drives be cleared by overwriting or destroyed by shredding. 2trg performs data overwriting compliant with NIST SP 800-88 Guidelines. 2trg recycles the shredded drives responsibly according to NIST guidelines and your company regulations.

2trg makes every attempt to reuse assets before recycling. Often times items are better utilized as pieces or parts when they are no longer working. When the unit is completely obsolete, 2trg performs computer recycling by dismantling and sorting the by-products (glass, plastic, metal, wire, printed circuit boards, etc.) for future use in manufacturing.

2trg can create asset reports for clients detailing the items recycled. As standard procedure, we remove all asset tags from equipment. All clients receive a certificate of recycling.
